Vaccination
GGD Zuid Limburg is committed to monitoring the health and safety of all citizens of Zuid-Limburg. You can go here for vaccinations such as:
- Influenza vaccination (for vulnerable age groups)
- Coronavirus Covid-19
- People aged up to and including 24 years can visit the GGD once a year, free of charge, for a STI-test ‘just to be sure’
- HPV vaccination 19- to 26-year-olds
- Travel vaccinations and company vaccinations
Participation is on a voluntary basis. For those not wanting to participate, return the invitation which indicates an opt out.
The National Immunisation Programme
The Dutch government offers every child vaccinations against 12 infectious diseases. Young parents automatically receive an invitation for their baby. he GGD follows the National immunisation programme of the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) for this purpose. You can find the vaccination schedule on their website. Vaccination for children is free of charge.
